2007年にオフィシャルにスタートしたutakata recordsは非英語圏の国の、日本では光があてられていなかったオルタナティヴなサウンドを紹介するレーベルです。ワールドミュージックのリスナーのみならず、ロック/クラブミュージックのファンにもアピールするサウンドの発掘、紹介を目指しています。数は少ないですが、厳選されたものをリリースしていく予定です。
Officially started in 2007, utakata records aim to introduce to the Japanese market alternative music from non-English-speaking countries. We handle music that appeals not only to world music listeners but also to rock and club music lovers. Our emphasis is on quality than quantity--we release only the most carefully selected titles.
